For qualified divers this is the first day of diving the untamed and unspoiled tropical reefs of Sodwana Bay. We will select two of the many dive sites based on the wish list and abilities of the dive group. All dives are exciting boat launches through the surf and a short boat ride to the dive sites. We will do two dives on this day. Lunch will be at Leatherbacks Restaurant.
Dinner is a braai and will be served overlooking the tranquil pool at Leatherbacks Restaurant, whereafter guests will retire to their chalets for a good night’s rest.
We start the day with an early breakfast followed by the scenic drive to the beach. Training divers will be privileged to do their first two ever qualifying dives on the tropical reefs of Sodwana. A diving paradise that many only dream of diving.
Qualified divers will have two exciting dives as per the previous day. The expansive coral reefs at Sodwana Bay are incredibly biodiverse with around 95 species of coral, and 1200 species of other marine creatures.
After a lovely lunch at Leatherbacks Restaurant we will spend the afternoon relaxing on the beach, drinking cappuccinos at the LightHouse Restaurant or lounging around the lodge pool. Dinner will be a braai in our luxurious settings.
Back to the beach after a hearty breakfast. Qualified divers will do their fifth and final dive in the morning. Divers may choose to purchase an additional dive on this day, in case they haven’t spotted the resident Giant Moray Eel on any of the previous dives, or another sea creature they were hoping to see.
Learner divers will complete the remaining two qualifying dives and join the diving fraternity for life.
After lunch at the lodge we will spend the afternoon relaxing on the beach, drinking cappuccinos at the LightHouse Restaurant or lounging around the pool at the lodge.
