We will visit the famous Cango Caves located in Oudtshoorn at the foothills of the Swartberg mountain range. Take time to enjoy a caving experience in the ancient chambers and the eerie dark tunnels of these iconic historically significant limestone caves.
The extensive system of tunnels and chambers go on for 4 kilometres, only a quarter of this is open to visitors. The Cinema Museum in London holds a film of a visit to the caves in the 1930s, so don’t miss your visit to this site which is regarded as one of the world’s great natural wonders and is South Africa’s oldest tourist attraction!
